Summary

  • add a dedicated RomM guest on Pikachu
  • mount persistent service data and emulation media
  • route romm.alexion.dev through the reverse proxy
  • configure provider credentials through SOPS

Testing

  • nix run .#fix
  • nix eval --raw .#nixosConfigurations.pikachu.config.system.build.toplevel.drvPath
  • nixos-rebuild build --flake .#pikachu (fails because configs/nixos/secrets/pikachu.yaml lacks the declared RomM provider secrets)

The build requires these SOPS entries in configs/nixos/secrets/pikachu.yaml:

  • services/romm/igdb/client-id
  • services/romm/igdb/client-secret
  • services/romm/screenscraper/user
  • services/romm/screenscraper/password
  • services/romm/steamgriddb/api-key

I did not add placeholder credentials because they would leave the metadata providers nonfunctional.
