Summary

  • Adds the nix-style-linter Rust package and Bazel targets.
  • Parses explicit file and directory inputs with rnix.
  • Emits parse diagnostics as path:line:column: parse-error: message.
  • Returns exit code 0 for clean input, 1 for diagnostics, and 2 for tool errors.

Verification

  • bazel run //third_party:vendor_crates
  • bazel test //src/nix-style-linter:lib_test
  • Smoke tested bazel run //src/nix-style-linter:nix-style-linter -- <malformed.nix>.
    The command returned exit 1 and printed parse-error on stdout.
  • LSP diagnostics passed for src/nix-style-linter/lib.rs and src/nix-style-linter/lib_test.rs.

Notes

  • No style rules are included in this pull request.
  • Flake app wiring and fixer wiring remain out of scope.
