Summary

  • Split src/dotfiles/registry.nix into focused registry helper modules.
  • Keep registry.nix as the orchestration layer for types, module options, and collected data.
  • Preserve the existing registry behavior while separating definition loading, collection, validation, operations, and option construction.

Validation

  • cargo run --locked --quiet -p nix-style-linter -- src/dotfiles/registry.nix src/dotfiles/registry
  • nix eval .#nixosConfigurations --apply builtins.attrNames
  • nix eval .#nixosConfigurations.{neogaia,pikachu,zeus}.config.system.name

nix run .#fix currently fails because it tries to format vendored third_party/crates/rnix-0.14.0 parser fixtures; those side effects were reverted.
